Introducing the only 50cc scooter with MP3 player - 2009 RR50GTX
Don't think the MP3 player is the only feature of the 50GTX. It comes with light weight 12" aluminum rims, an aluminum exhaust, front disk brake with ABS, low profile sports tires, a rear trunk, a scooter cover, an anti-theft front disk lock, 2 years warranty, and did we mention an MP3 player?
The RR50GTX delivers impeccable performance; it's agile and quick. The seat is comfortable for 2 people and setup in a way that taller people (6ft +) won't look like frogs on it. The under-seat compartment and included trunk offer plenty of storage. This scooter would have had a front storage compartment as well but we gave it up to house the speakers. The audio system is impressive; the speakers are loud, the sound is clear. The controller is easily accessible and can control all the basic functions. The MP3 player is located under the seat; it can read music from mini SD cards, USB drives or other USB MP3 players.
As with every RoadRunner iScooter, this scooter is shipped in a reinforced crate that greatly minimize shipping damage risk. We personally tested every scooter at the factory in China before it was shipped to us. Our ride impression: The GTX is pleasant and lots of fun to ride. The engine responds as soon as the throttle is twisted. The suspensions are soft and the ride is comfortable. As soon as the ride starts we notice a total lack of vibration and the exhaust makes a nice sound. The low profile tires give good road feedback so the ride feels bumpy at times. The scooter feels balanced and safe. We were impressed by the pickup, engine response and overall handling of this scooter; it can handle tight turns.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The air pressure and engine oil level should be checked before the first ride. Tires are overfilled for shipping. Riding this scooter with too much air is not only dangerous and could result in injury, it also make the wheels bounce exessively.
To get maximum performance out of this scooter, please follow the break-in instructions supplied in the user manual.
