NOTE: Please remember to adjust the air pressure and check the oil levels prior to the first ride. Although everything was checked at the factory, tires are overinflated for shipping purposes and oil may leak out during transit.
Improvements for 2009 model: The engine quality was improved.The front disk brake was upgraded to ABS. The electrical system was changed from 5 to 7amp. The headlight was upgraded for more intensity. The CDI and voltage regulator were changed to better quality. Some cables and tubes were re-routed so they don't break. A few cosmetic changes were done as well.
Our ride impression:
This scooter is fun to ride. It's comfortable even with 2 people on. The acceleration is smooth and vibration free. The brakes do a perfect job. The handling is very precise and the scooter is easy to ride. It instills confidence and feels safe. It will behave in turns even at higher speeds. It's also pretty quiet, the engine makes a nice low volume sound. All the controls are were they are supposed to be and can be found / used quickly. Over all, the Classic 50 is a classic and we love it.
